After Service today: Creating Community in Unity – It’s like speed dating, only not really! Charlotte Kells, Martha Powers, and Rev. Steve offer a fun event in celebration of Unity’s new tag line, “Creating Community, Celebrating Love, Transforming Lives”. Get to know your Unity community in a deeper way, have fun, and enjoy some special snacks all at the same time. What could be better?! Everyone is encouraged to play!
New Meditation Group – Wednesdays in March – Join Scott Kuenzel and Martha Powers on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm for one hour of spiritual renewal, balancing and healing the chakras, and guided meditation. This group will substitute for our Wednesday evening prayer circle for the month of March.

“Everyday Treasures” Program Returns – Last summer’s "Everyday Treasures" program (contributing your spare change to Unity) was such a success that we’re bringing it back permanently. A jar will be available each Sunday to collect the deposits you make to your "Prosperity Bank". (If you need a replacement bank see Len Klein or John Rosario.) In three months last summer we raised over $1,000. Just think of what we can do over an entire year!

Welcome to Friendship Hall! – That’s what you’ll find on the door to our newly renovated space in the “lower level”. The majority of those polled last week chose this name over the other options presented in last week’s survey. Let’s start calling it like it is, “Hey, I’ll meet you in Friendship Hall!”
Thanks to All Who Helped Out – at the “Inspiration Project” during yesterday’s Multicultural Festival International Bazaar! It was a great opportunity to support the church and interact with our larger community. Special thanks to event coordinator and project leader Ellen Carty Cordry.
Baseball Season is approaching and another opportunity to win Red Sox-Yankee tickets. The winner of the drawing will win 4 tickets to the Red Sox versus the NY Yankees on May 8th . We will begin on March 14th and end on drawing day April 25th. Top sales person wins 2 tickets to the April 22nd Red Sox versus Rangers. Prosperity Planning Session: Saturday, March 13th, there will be a meeting for members of the Prosperity Team from 10:00 AM until noon. This will be the longest – and likely the most important – meeting of our team in 2010 because the topic is “Creating Our Prosperity Plan for the Year.” This meeting is open to anyone interested in helping to ensure that 2010 is the most prosperous year in our history. February Tithes
Unity Church of the Light practices tithing. Each month 10% of our income is lovingly sent to the channels of God’s blessings in our lives and those who further God’s work in our world. The tithe this month of $1,800 will be shared with Champ Homes, the Cape Cod Council of Churches, the Salvation Army, Silent Unity, The Eastern Region of the Association of Unity Churches and the Association of Unity Churches International, and the AUCI Haiti Relief Fund. Thank you, God, for our abundant blessings!
