Four Week Gratitude Series Begins Today – Derived from Dan Sullivan’s book/CD, The Gratitude Principle, our focus will be to develop, or enhance, the habit of proactive gratitude.
o Dan has graciously offered a free set of materials – book, CD, and workbook - to every person who sends a note of gratitude! Pick up your materials at the church and email a short note of gratitude to unityoncapecod@verizon.net
o Support your gratitude practice in a home- or church-based gratitude circle. Sign up in the foyer.

Congratulations to Our New Trustees – On January 22nd, Deb Nugnes, John Rosario, and Elsa Sampou were elected to our Board. Please offer them your congratulations, as well as your on-going love and support.

New Board Officers Elected at Weekend Board Retreat – In accordance with our bylaws, the new Board elected officers at its planning retreat, on February 3rd and 4th. The announcement of the new officers will be made today at the Sunday service.

New, new dates for “Peace Begins with Me” Course: Thursdays March 29th, and April 5th, and 12h and 19th at 7 pm. – Would you like to bring peace to your life? Facilitated by Kathy Smith-Brown and Rev. Steve, this course is one of our most practical and popular and is required for Voting Membership in the church. All are encouraged to take, or even retake, this transformational work.

There is a continuing need for coin contributions to finance the weekly church cleaning. Just collect your loose change at the end of each day and bring them to church. You may place them in the coin jar in the foyer. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this necessary work.

Lou Cataldo Leaving the Unity Band – Drummer/vocalist, Lou Cataldo, has secured new employment as a church docent, which requires him to be at the church each Sunday morning. Lou says he’ll miss Unity as much or more as we might miss him. Blessings to Lou in his new endeavor.

Church Office Operation/Meeting with Rev. Steve – Our Administrative Assistant Liz Hill, is normally in the church office from 10:00 to 3:00, Wednesday through Friday. Rev. Steve’s days off are generally Monday and Saturday. His hours vary, but he is available by appointment most days. He will also make home and hospital visits as needed. Cancer/ Illness Support Group- Hope Therapy, "The Talking Place"- Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7 pm. A welcoming, caring and supportive environment for those with illness and/or trying to cope with illness of a loved one. Groups meet from 7-9 p.m. every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.

Prayer Requests

Prayer requests can be made in three ways, all of which are confidential. Requests are held in prayer at Unity on Cape Cod for one week and then forwarded to Silent Unity, Unity’s world-wide prayer ministry, where they are held in prayer for another 30 days.

Complete a Prayer Request form in your weekly bulletin and place it in the prayer box at the front of the sanctuary
